No wonder that the whole Gulf coast degenerated into chaos and lawlessness so damn quickly!

Just curious--what does your DH do? Any idea when he'll be back?
DH is in the CO Air National Guard. He's an Engineer. He separated from the Air Force after 12 years.
They said the assignment was for 30 days. I can easily see it going longer than that. I can also see him coming back for a week or two and heading back again.
Pretty unreal, honestly. They should be ashamed of themselves.
It is one thing to take things that you desperately need to survive, but to go free show shopping in the wake of this disaster is just vile. Doesn't matter WHO you are or what your job description is... but it really is more disgusting seeing it from the very people who should be discouraging such behavior.
