What would possess a little girl....
...to do this? Maybe social services should check out that house... Insulin needles are very small, but the key is that they're hollow--which means if anyone was stuck after the HIV+ kid, they are at risk. Scary!!

The article says it was the testing needle, ie, the one she uses to stick herself to draw blood for testing. So, it was probably not hollow like an insulin needle would be. Still, though, you have to wonder what sort of weird thoughts prompted this action.
Kids can be so well...stupid...they dont even think of consequences. I can totally see this childs thought 'Oh...a pin...I can poke my friends..."
Was the mom HIV positive? I just skimmed the article.
No, one of the kids that got stuck tested positive in the mass testing after the incident. I just think it's a little creepy...
